Minimum criteria for applying for IIT Madras Online BSc in programming and Data Science
The course is available to anyone who has completed Class XII, with English and Mathematics as main subjects in class Xth and who is enrolled in any on campus undergraduate course.
Students who are in completing their class 12 in 2020 can also apply. They should meet the criteria as described above.

Students will have the right to leave the program at each point, and receive a Certificate, Diploma or Degree from IIT Madras, respectively. This is something very unique about this program.
All the above certificate, diploma or degree are from IIT madras and hence all the degree holders of this programme will have IIT madras Alumni Status.
How will be the admission process in IIT Madras BSC Online programme in programming and data science?
The admissions will start with a qualifier process.
All students need to complete a 4 weeks of online course and assignments. those students who get pass the weekly assignments will get to write a qualifier exam.
This qualifier exam will be based on this 4 week online course
those who clear this qualifier exam make it to foundation course

The application fee for regular entry candidates is Rs 3000 /- relaxation in fees as per below table.
